This Man arrested in Port Jervis for alleged sexual assault of a child. Police are releasing this information below:

“Kenneth Washington, age 49, of Jamestown, New York, was arrested by Port Jervis City Police Detectives on September 10th, 2021 during the late evening hours based upon an investigation into allegations of a sexual assault that occurred in the City of Port Jervis. Port Jervis City Police Detectives charged Washington with the following offenses:

• Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, a class A Felony, two counts of First Degree Rape, Class B felonies, Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, a Class B Felony, and Sexual Conduct Against a Child, a Class B Felony.

The defendant was arraigned by the Orange County Virtual Arraignment Part and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail pending Grand Jury Evaluation.

Port Jervis City Police were assisted by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Orange County Child Protective Services – Child Advocacy Center and the City of Jamestown Police Department with the investigation.”
