WCPD detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred this evening aboard a Bee-Line bus in Yonkers.

The incident occurred at 5:02 p.m. on South Broadway at Ludlow Street., A No. 4 line bus was traveling north and stopped at Ludlow Street to discharge passengers. At that time, several shots rang out on the bus and an 18-year-old man was struck.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his legs and is being treated at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation by WCPD detectives with assistance from WCPD Patrol officers and the Yonkers Police Department.
