National Night Out Banners Vandalized

PCPD: So we found our banners for our National Night out vandalized overnight.

It's ok if you don't like the event or for that matter the Police, but to try and ruin a night out for Police and Community is probably not the way to go..

The purpose of National Night Out, which is a nationwide event, is to bring the Police and Community together to meet and have a conversation.

Most members of the Department are born, raised and still live in PC and have a vested interest in the relationship with the community.

So we will not be deterred by these acts in our quest to bring the Police and Community together and we will continue to build relationships.

If you don't agree with the event you don't have to come, that's what this country is about.

We ask the community to come out and support your PCPD on 8/3.
