UPS Sexual Harassment

For people that got fired from UPS and are in the process of filing a grievance.

(Long story alert)

For over 25 years, an employee at UPS was molesting young men at work and threatening to get them fired or even murdered if they ever reported him to a supervisor or HR person. One UPS worker was so scared of him he just let him do whatever he wanted to do to him. Some workers would even hide from him when they saw him coming towards them. He was a liar so he often told new employees he was from the MS-13 gang and he had people murdered for crossing him.

He did have connections and friendships with people in powerful positions at UPS and he used it to his advantage to get away with everything, he told me he was untouchable. For years he did whatever he wanted to do, including molesting his co-workers. People were scared to report him to the Supervisor or HR person, and if someone threatened to beat him up or try to beat him up he would go to the Manager and get that person fired or moved to another location, and then he would brag to others about what he did. He took pleasure in getting workers who crossed him in trouble.

Some people did end up reporting him, but they ended up being ignored because the Managers and HR chalked it up as guys just horsing around. If he targeted and molested women at work, he would have been fired on the spot, but it was just horsing around since he only targeted and molested men. And some guys were too embarrassed to go to a Supervisor or Manager. To tell them they are being molested and harassed at work every day.

(Keep in mind the guy is married with a family, so it was hard for a Manager or HR person to believe he was molesting his male co-workers).

He ended up setting his sights on me and targeting me, trying to follow me home, etc... He ended up one day physically sexually assaulting me at work. I first thought about beating him up but realized that I would just get fired, and he wins again if I do that.

After thinking about what to do because I knew I couldn't work with him. I ended up telling my Supervisor, who already knew about him. My Supervisor ended up apologizing to me for not taking action sooner against him the other times he sexually assaulted other workers. He told me to write a statement and give it to the manager, and I did.

HR called me into the office the next day. I told HR in detail of everything he did... After going back and forth with the Manager. The Manager ended up firing him, and after he fired him, it spread like wildfire, and other workers ended going to the manager and telling their stories of what he did to them. Even UPS Supervisors came to me in private to tell me thank you because he did the same to them. Lots of people were happy he finally got fired.

He ended up getting his job back after being fired for a few months. UPS never officially told me he got his job back. I ended up finding out about it from a Co-Worker. He was put into another UPS building and banned forever from working in the building I worked in.

When he got his job back, he tried to take me and UPS to court. Of course, nothing came of it because he didn't have a case, and he knew so many people would testify against him. I guess he tried to do it to prove to his wife he was innocent.

But I say all this to say that if this guy got his job back then, you could get your job back at UPS. It's hard to get fired from UPS and not get your job back.

(The address under my name is not my address it's a UPS building address)
